Why use plastic or aluminum foil when you don't have to? Have your cheese wrapped up in a beeswax wrap, or use the wrap to cover bowls, or to preserve food (raw meat excepted). The wrap can be kept in the fridge or freezer. You can expect it to last about 10 months.
The wrap - made by the Dutch bijenwasdoeken.com - is from organic cotton (GOTS certified), treated with beeswax and jojoba oil, which gives the wrap its preservative characteristic. In addition, beeswax and jojoba oil have anti-bacterial properties - no more mould on the cheese!
Rinse with cold water (if necessary with a little washing-up liquid) and allow to dry before reuse. Do not wring.
